Scottish internet pioneer Bill Dobbie will be aiming to woo more investors to his cause on Wednesday when he is due to confirm news of further spectacular growth in demand at his EasyDate online dating service.

Interim figures for the Edinburgh-based Cupid.Com and BeNaughty.Com group, which floated on the Alternative Investment Market at the end of June, are expected to show that it is now firmly on course to double sales to £20 million this year, with pre-tax profits likely to multiply fivefold to around the £5m mark.
